This policy explains how GoodChaos Hospitality Group Inc. (“GoodChaos”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information through goodchaos.ca. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us, plus limited technical information needed to run the website.
- Contact forms. When you send a general, partnership, private dining & events, or press & media message, we collect the details you enter — such as your name, email, phone number, company or publication, event date, number of guests, occasion and your message.
- Emails. If you email us directly (for example to apply for a job or ask a question), we receive whatever you include, such as your résumé.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our servers and security tools automatically record basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This helps keep the site secure and working properly.
How we use your information
- To reply to your message and provide the information or service you asked for.
- To plan and confirm private dining, events and group bookings.
- To consider partnership, supplier and media requests.
- To review job applications you send us.
- To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fix problems.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We won’t add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

Our website uses cookies — small files stored in your browser. Necessary cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choices. - Google Maps displays our location map, and Google Fonts provides the typefaces on this site.
- Our website host, content delivery and email delivery providers store the site and deliver form messages to our inbox.
Our site also links to outside websites — including OpenTable, Indeed, 86Network and the websites of The Story Cafe, The Sequel, WABI and Merchant House. When you follow those links, that website’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected — for example, to answer your inquiry, hold your event or review your application — or as required by law. After that, we securely delete it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to our website and inbox, and security software. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can see it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it (which may limit how we can help you). To make a request, email us and we will respond within the time required by law.
