Founded in British Columbia, GoodChaos Hospitality Group is a passionate hospitality company dedicated to creating distinctive restaurant concepts and memorable guest experiences. We don't simply open restaurants—we build destinations where people connect, celebrate, and create stories worth sharing.

Our growing family includes The Story Cafe – Eatery & Bar, an award-winning restaurant known for its warm hospitality, house-made cuisine, live entertainment, and welcoming atmosphere; The Sequel – Kitchen & Bar, where modern vintage elegance meets exceptional dining and live music; and WABI ( Manzo formal business), our newest concept inspired by Japanese culinary traditions and contemporary experiences.

What began with a simple vision has grown into a family of more than 100 dedicated team members across our restaurant brands. Every chef, server, bartender, barista, manager, host, dishwasher, and support staff plays an essential role in creating the experiences our guests have come to love.

Founder & CEO

For Kingsley,
hospitality has never been just about food—it's about creating places where people feel they belong.

An entrepreneur with a background in information technology, Kingsley founded Kingtech Solution Inc. in 2003 before following his passion for hospitality and entertainment. His vision led to the creation of The Story Cafe – Eatery & Bar, a restaurant that has earned a loyal following through exceptional food, heartfelt service, and a unique blend of live music, coffee, and community. Building on that success, he expanded the group's portfolio with The Sequel – Kitchen & Bar and WABI, each offering its own distinctive dining experience while sharing the same commitment to excellence.

Kingsley believes that great restaurants are built by great people. Rather than simply managing businesses, he focuses on developing leaders, empowering his teams, and creating a workplace where everyone is encouraged to grow both professionally and personally. His leadership style is hands-on—working alongside his team, mentoring managers, listening to guests, and continually improving every aspect of the business.

One of Kingsley's guiding principles is simple: take care of your team, and they will take care of your guests. This philosophy has shaped a culture where colleagues become friends, friends become family, and hospitality comes naturally. Whether it's leading a packed service, celebrating milestones together, or singing live with guests, he believes authentic connections create unforgettable experiences.

Beyond business, Kingsley is passionate about bringing people together through food, music, and meaningful experiences. His vision for GoodChaos Hospitality Group is to build more than successful restaurants—it is to create destinations where guests make memories, employees build careers, and communities gather around genuine hospitality.
